中文摘要 | 本試驗為瞭解不同種植材料--吸芽及塊莖,對香蕉成活率、抽穗期、生長發育及產量之影響,以供香蕉栽培之參政。結果顯示:在六月初以塊莖種植者,其成活率極顯著較吸芽者為高,塊莖為94.5%,吸芽為72.2%。然部份吸芽苗雖未成活,但仍可由其地下塊莖另生新苗,因此,就整個試區而言,塊莖種植者與吸芽種植者並無顯著差異。在抽穗期方面,成活之原吸芽蕉株,抽穗較塊莖苗者分佈集中並有提前趨勢,但就整個試區而言,由於吸芽種植區有部分香蕉(約18%)係自吸芽之塊莖長出者,故就整個試區生長之香蕉而言,其抽穗之分佈反較塊莖種植者分散,亦?蕉園採收完畢之時間反而延後。然就香蕉抽穗時之株高、莖周及採收時之果手數、果指數及單株產量而言,吸芽生長之香蕉均極顯著大於塊莖者;平均株高約高30~35 cm;莖周約大5~7 cm;果手數約增加1果手;果指數約增加25~29果指及單株產量約增4.2 Kg。因此,就本省現行之更新栽培制度而必須注意產量之觀點論,仍以吸芽作苗為優。 |
英文摘要 | The effect of different planting materials, suckers and corms, on the percentage of survival after field planting, shooting, plant growth and yield of Taiwan banana (Musa cavendishii Lamb.) were studied in TBRI, Pingtung, Taiwn during 1978/79. Results showed that the percentage of survival plant of sucker materials after field planting in June was highly significantly lower than those of corm materials. However, some new shoots generated from the corm of sucker materials which field to grow, so the total number of plants growing in the sucker-planted plot was not significantly different from that of the plot planted with corms. Comparing the time of shooting, plants from suckers produced early fruits more concentrated in distribution than those from corms. However, 18% of banana plants in the sucker-planted plot generated from corms of the dead suckers the distribution of shooting in the whole plot was more dispersed than those of cormplanted plot. Regarding the growth and fruit weight, sucker plants were significantly greater in plant height and girth than those of corm plants; the former also yielded fruits with significantly greater number in hands and fingers and bunch weight than the latter. It is considered that suckers are better source of planting material in Taiwan from the yield point of view. |
