英文摘要 | A total of 123 soybean varieties were tested in the summer of 1977. The internode-length pattern was determined by the length of each internode of main stem. 1. Using the method of ellipse with equal probability the distribution pattern of internode length, of the 123 varieties studied could be classified into three types: NI type: Those plant with the length of internodes gradually increased from the lower part to the middle of the stem, then decreased. NII type: Those plants with the length of internodes gradually increased from lower to the upper part. NIII type: Those plants with no significant changes length of internode. This type is also called "short internode soybean". 2. The genetic pattern of internode in N4 and N5 nodes were studied. Results indicated that the genetic variations of internode pattern within NI and NII types was controlled by the polygenes and variations between NI and NII types was controlled by one major gene with NI the dominant. |
