英文摘要 | For obtaining the information of the improvement of peanut oil quality, the fatty acid composition of the oil of 30 varieties in spring crop and 40 varieties in fall crop, 2 varieties (Tainan 9 and Tainuong 3) in 7 locations were analyzed by the gas-liquid chromatography after the fatty acid were converted into the methyl ester form. The results indicated as follows: 1. The unsaturated fatty acid, oleic acid and linoleic acid, were the major fatty acid (about 80 to 89%), and the saturated fatty acid, palmitic acid and steatic acid, had a small proportion. 2. It revealed a significant difference on fatty acid composition between peanut varieties. The difference between the type of variety (Virginia type vs. Spanish Valencia type) were more significant than the difference between the varieties within same type. 3. The proportion of oleic acid were greater than the proportion of linoleic acid in spring crop, but reversely the proportion of linoleic acid increased in fall crop. 4. The environmental factors as locations and seasons may influence the fatty acid composition. The different growing seasons had more effect on the fatty acid proportion than the different locations. 5. A negative correlation was found between oleic acid percent and linoleic acid percent (r=-0.9827** in spring crop, r=-0.8866** in fall crop), and between oil content and oleic acid percent (r=-0.5367**). The high oil varieties were higher in linoleic acid and lower in oleic acid than the low oil content varieties. |
