| 英文摘要 | With the increasing in age, not only the change in external body and development of chronic disease, there are change in gut microbiota. Change in gut microbiota might have dramatic influence on the pathophysiology of host. Disruption of gut microbiota, especially decrease in some beneficial bacteria might damage the gut epithelial integrity, increase gut permeability, influence the absorption of nutrients, change the absorption and metabolism of food and influence the regulation of immune system (so-called inflammaging). So probiotics supplement was tried in some studies to improve the gut microbiota, to repair the gut microbiota influenced by aging or disease in order to recover the aging, impaired metabolism and immunity. But most of these studies were done in animal models or in some small group of relative healthy elderly. There are still some debate in the beneficial effect and adverse reaction of probiotics supplement among elderly living in long term care facilities with relative unhealthy condition. According to current evident unless elderly need the supplement of probiotics in clinics (such as occurrence of antibiotics associated diarrhea for a long time) under the physician advice, there is no benefit for elderly to use probiotics for a long time. In contrast increase dietary fiber can increase gut short chain fatty acid which is beneficial for gut microbiota. So improving the diet habitual or encouraging of regular exercise will be more efficient and safe way to improve the gut immune system and microbiota. |
