| 英文摘要 | This study aims to explore the historical background, development process, and application of domed stadiums worldwide, compare the operation models of these stadiums in multiple countries, and propose suggestions for the future operation of the Taipei Dome. Methods: This paper used the document analysis method to collect relevant journal articles, news and official materials related to domed stadiums worldwide. Using the theoretical framework of multipurpose stadium development trends proposed by Kozma et al. and the seven operational elements developed by Glebova et al., the study analyzed various aspects of domed stadiums, including operational planning, functional purposes, and social benefits, to identify key success factors in stadium management. The results of the study indicate that hosting large-scale events during the off-season in domed stadiums can significantly increase return on investment and realize the social value of public infrastructure, thereby enhancing the city’s brand image and stimulating economic benefits. In terms of the operation planning of the Taipei Dome, this paper suggests that we should propose precise positioning and focus on developing diversified functions, as well as integrating the surrounding living circles, to achieve higher economic and social benefits and realize the goal of sustainable development. |
