| 中文摘要 | 在各種中國古典文學的文體中,詞與音樂的關係比較密切。宋詞能合樂歌唱,其音樂有助抒發情感。北宋詞人柳永以精通音律著稱,他大量創作慢詞,改變了自五代以來以小令為主的詞風,對後世詞體發展影響深遠。柳永詞在北宋雖以音律聞名,可惜南宋以後詞調樂譜漸亡,後世詞學批評失去準繩,對柳永詞的研究便側重於文學層面而忽略了其音樂性一面。晚清民初的詞學家認為詞調樂譜雖然失傳,但當中部分音樂特徵仍然通過文字格律保留下來。其中龍榆生曾提出「詞調之學」,主張從文字四聲、句式、押韻等分析詞調的聲情關係。本文嘗試運用數位人文工具實踐與轉化「詞調之學」,運用DocuSky標註柳永慢詞字聲並製成資料庫,使詞作字聲作視覺化呈現;然後通過遠程閱讀考察其特別的聲律特徵與結構;再輔以量化分析與文本細讀探討柳永慢詞竹去聲字用法與抒情關係。本文希望有助學界思考如何融匯數位科技與傳統理論,藉此開拓宋詞音律與抒情關係的研究。 |
| 英文摘要 | Among various genres of Chinese classical literature, Ci poetry maintains a particularly close relationship with music. Song dynasty Ci could be sung to musical accompaniment, and this musicality enhanced emotional expression. The Northern Song poet Liu Yong was renowned for his mastery of musical prosody. He extensively composed Long Tune (man ci 慢詞), transforming the predominant style from Short Tune (xiao ling 小令) that had prevailed since the Five Dynasties period, thereby exerting profound influence on the development of Ci poetry in subsequent generations. Although Liu Yong's Ci was celebrated for its musical qualities during the Northern Song, the gradual loss of Ci melodies from the Southern Song onwards deprived Ci criticism of its fundamental criteria. Consequently, later scholarship on Liu Yong's Ci focused primarily on literary aspects while neglecting its musical dimensions. Scholars of the late Qing and early Republican periods argued that although the musical scores of Ci tunes were lost, certain musical characteristics were preserved through textual prosody. Among them, Long Yusheng proposed the "Ci Diao Zhi Xue" (詞調之學, The Study of Ci Tunes), advocating the analysis of the relationship between sound and emotion in Ci tunes through examination of tonal patterns, sentence structures, and rhyme schemes. This paper attempts to apply and transform the "Ci Diao Zhi Xue" using digital humanities tools. By employing DocuSky to annotate the tonal patterns of Liu Yong's man ci and create a database, this study enables the visualization of tonal patterns in his poetry. Through distant reading, the research examines distinctive prosodic features and structures, supplemented by quantitative analysis and close textual reading to analyze the relationship between Liu Yong's use of qu tone (去聲) characters in long tune and lyrical expression. This paper aims to contribute to scholarly discourse on integrating digital technology with traditional theory, thereby advancing the study of the relationship between musical prosody and lyrical expression in Ci poetry. |
