| 中文摘要 | 多元文化教育目的是幫助學生理解不同文化的價值與習俗,其深層的教育意義期望學生從中習得包容與尊重。然而,多元文化概念隱藏許多環境與地理背景的關聯知識,且傳達文化的資訊不限於文字;透過科技的介入,例如虛擬實境(virtual reality, VR),幫助學生瞭解多模態及多元的文化訊息,讓學生如同置身於實境,更容易理解或比較文化間的差異。另一方面讓學生主動建構知識,幫助學生整合不同訊息,並進行資訊連結與知識建構。本研究旨在透過製作VR內容的方式,採用拼圖合作學習策略,引導學生於「專家小組」進行討論與規劃,設計出能呈現多元文化的VR內容;完成後,學生將其帶回「原小組」分享、討論與修正。為探討拼圖式合作學習模式(jigsaw learning),本研究採用單組兩階段的研究設計。在第一階段,學生採用「觀看VR」配合拼圖式合作學習模式進行學習;第二階段,學生採用「製作VR」配合拼圖式合作學習模式進行學習。研究結果顯示,採用「製作VR」內容的拼圖式合作學習模式,能顯著提升學生的學業成就、學習參與度,以及多元文化敘述能力。本研究證實,「製作VR模式結合拼圖式合作學習策略」能促進學生更深入的參與,幫助對於多元文化內容有更全面的理解,從而實現主動且具創造性的學習目標。 |
| 英文摘要 | Multicultural education encourages students to appreciate the values and customs of diverse cultures to achieve the broader objective of greater tolerance and respect. Considering that cultural messages are not solely communicated through text, the concept of multiculturalism also includes environmental and geographical understanding. Accordingly, the integration of virtual reality (VR) technologies into multicultural education can enable students to gain a richer understanding of diverse, multimodal cultural information and compare cultural differences through immersive scenarios. Additionally, the promotion of active knowledge construction through experiential learning enables students to make meaningful connections between various types of information. In this study, students participated in guided VR content design through collaborative discussion and planning within expert groups, ultimately producing multicultural VR representations. After project completion, the students reconvened in their original groups to share, discuss, and refine the VR content. To evaluate the effects of this approach on learning outcomes, a single-group, two-phase research design was implemented. In the first phase, the students applied the jigsaw cooperative learning strategy that incorporated predesigned VR content. In the second phase, they applied the same jigsaw cooperative learning strategy to create their own VR content. The results indicated that the creation of VR content significantly improved the students' academic performance, learning engagement, and multicultural narrative abilities. These findings confirm that multicultural VR teaching approaches deepen students' engagement and enrich their understanding of multicultural content, thereby enabling them to achieve active and creative learning objectives. |
