| 英文摘要 | Higher education urgently needs teachers who understand AI and can combine it with their professional fields. However, for teachers in general education and humanities, using AI tools often feels challenging. To support them, Tunghai University developed the AI Learning Experience Design Program, which takes a structured, hands-on approach. The program includes interactive activities, real-life case studies, peer collaboration, and trial teaching. A self-developed survey on technology integration in teaching was used to assess participants’ learning outcomes, along with gathering feedback on how generative AI can be implemented in future courses. According to the feedback from participants, one of the most effective ways to help educators get started with AI is to simply encourage them to "play with it." This strategy, widely recommended by participants, helps lower the entry barrier. Generative AI creates new opportunities for subjects like general education and humanities, helping students show creativity and different learning results. However, AI-generated content still make mistakes. As AI gives quick answers, teachers are no longer just knowledge providers but guides in learning. They help students check if AI’s outputs are correct, build critical thinking skills, and use AI as a helpful learning tool instead of accepting it passively. |
