| 英文摘要 | Hiroshi Ishii, a pioneer in Tangible Media, has significantly shaped human-computer interaction (HCI) through his concepts of Tangible Bits and Radical Atoms, driven by “vision-driven” design research. His work aims to overcome the limitations of traditional Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs) by integrating intangible digital information with tangible physical objects via Tangible User Interfaces (TUIs). This integration allows for natural and intuitive human-machine interactions by engaging users' sensory perceptions. From Tangible Bits to Radical Atoms, Ishii explores the potential of real-time shape-shifting materials for user interfaces, promoting a seamless integration of technology and human perception. He also emphasizes personal emotional expression and fosters interactive connections among users that transcend time and space. This paper examines Ishii's research spanning over three decades, analyzing his concepts and key works through two developmental trajectories. First, it traces the evolution from Tangible Bits to Radical Atoms, showcasing tangible interfaces like the Bottles series and SandScape, and material interfaces such as TRANSFORM and bioLogic. Second, it explores the shift from "Telepresence" to "TeleAbsence," highlighting Ishii's interdisciplinary approach, which integrates art, science, design, and technology to evoke emotional engagement and reflection. Finally, this paper concludes by summarizing the practical applications of Hiroshi Ishii's Tangible Media research, his vision-driven design research and its artistic inspiration, highlighting his significant contributions to the field of HCI. |
