| 英文摘要 | Mammalian early embryonic development is a complex process that progresses from a totipotent fertilized egg to a fully formed organism. The blastocyst stage is particularly critical, as it involves the formation of the trophectoderm and the inner cell mass, which subsequently develop into the placenta and embryo, respectively. With advancements in technology, researchers have utilized stem cell techniques to simulate these early developmental processes in vitro. Recently, the innovation of blastoids has not only transcended the limitations of traditional research but also provided a method that circumvents the use of actual embryos, thereby enhancing our understanding of the mechanisms underlying mammalian embryonic development. Moreover, the application of this technology aids in exploring explore reproductive barriers in livestock and may improve related reproductive techniques. This review discusses the latest advancements in stem cell-based embryo models, anticipates future research directions, and explores how these models deepen our understanding of early mammalian embryonic development. |
