| 英文摘要 | Dai Zhen is well known as a master of commendatory and textual research in Qing dynasty. He emphasized that knowledge is an important foundation of virtue, though Chien Mu's thought knowledge and virtue are two independent aspects of mortals.Nowadays, debates of virtue theories, e.g. virtue ethics and virtue epistemology, are important parts of modern western philosophy. Virtue epistemology especially interprets knowledge based on “intellectual virtues” and “moral virtues.” The author thinks it provides inspirations of reviewing the traditional Chinese philosophy from the theories of virtue epistemology. This study, therefore, is focused to investigate Dai Zhen’s theories based on “Sentimentalist Virtue Ethics” from Michael Slote. By comparing western and eastern philosophies, the author explores the relationships between knowledge and virtue from Dai Zhen’s arguments. It is also aimed to seek for new interpretations of “knowledge-virtue correspondence” in Dai Zhen’s theories, and try to provide feedbacks for criticism from Chien Mu's . |
