| 英文摘要 | How "gender" is represented in museums has become an increasingly important issue in museum studies. Compared with the expansion of feminist theory and gender studies in the theoretical and practical dimensions, and the continuous development of the knowledge landscape in various fields, research in the professional field of museum studies is actively catching up. Empirical studies into the practical field of museums also need to be carried out. Considering that gender studies are still under development in the field of museum studies, this article is based on existing research materials from within Taiwan, coupled with relevant exhibition case discussions, and the use of clues from recent historical situations. Specifically, the New York Guerrilla Girls Action will be used to illustrate the propositions and action strategies of the group’s initiative, starting from analyzing research issues with practical implications. Based on Taiwan's empirical research and literature, theoretical and empirical research is used to integrate the activist perspective of the museum as an institution that promotes social change. That is, under the initiative of human rights culture, we actively move towards viewing the museum as an institution that induces social change, enhances human rights, and respects the multicultural nature of the public sphere. Finally, through some case studies, analyses, and discussions, follow-up issues of museums and gender studies are constructed with an aim to jointly participate in the journey of advancing this knowledge pathway. |
