英文摘要 | This study examined the effects of a "Sun Diary Card" activity on visual acuity improvement among first-grade students (N = 205) at an elementary school in Kaohsiung. A pretest-posttest design was employed over a six-week intervention period, which included structured outdoor activities and diary card recordings. Standardized vision tests revealed significant improvements in visual acuity for both eyes (right eye: pre-test M = 0.83, posttest M = 0.90, p < .001; left eye: pre-test M = 0.83, post-test M = 0.89, p < .001). Significant gender differences were observed in one out of seven classes (pre-test: p < .05; post-test right eye: p < .01). The findings suggest that the "Sun Diary Card" activity is an effective strategy for improving visual health, with important implications for school-based vision care programs. |
