| 中文摘要 | 本研究借助實驗語音學的方法,考察十二名老撾中級水平漢語學習者普通話 單字調及上聲相關兩字組的的產出情況。實驗材料中,單字調包含陰平、陽平、上 聲和去聲四個調類,每個調類四個例字。兩字組設計八個組合,涵蓋了上聲作為前 字和後字的所有情況,且每個組別又分別設計了真詞(即真實存在的詞語)和假詞 (由兩個真實存在的單字組成一個不存在的詞語)。實驗結果顯示,單字調中,老撾 中級水平漢語學習者雖然相較中國學生而言,存在整體調域偏窄,上聲調長明顯偏 短的情況,但基本能掌握普通話四個聲調的調型,且能較好地在產出中區分陽平和 上聲。在兩字組中,大部分老撾學生能掌握上聲相關的變調規律,但在假詞中的產 出準確率要低於真詞。從組合來看,無論是真詞還是假詞,上聲+上聲組合的偏誤率 都最高,發生偏誤的上聲前字均誤讀為半上,同時這個組合中的上聲後字也容易出 現偏誤,發生偏誤的後字均誤讀為陽平。從上聲三個變體的產出情況來看,老撾中 級水平漢語學習者的半上習得情況最好,其次是全上,最後是升調,這說明老撾中 級水平漢語學習者尚未真正內化與普通話上聲有關的音系知識。本研究填補前人研 究中關於老撾留學生兩字組實驗材料假詞部分的欠缺,對老撾學生的上聲及其相關 變調的產出進行深入考察,全面揭示老撾中級水平漢語學習者在產出上聲及其相關 變調時存在的偏誤,為上聲及其變調的教學策略提供依據。 |
| 英文摘要 | This paper presents an experimental phonetic study on the production of Mandarin lexical tones and disyllabic sequences containing the third tone by 12 intermediate-level Chinese learners from Laos. The monosyllabic experimental materials covered all the four lexical tones in Mandarin, with four words for each tone. In addition, eight groups of disyllabic sequences were designed to cover all scenarios where the third tone appears as either the first or second syllable, and within each group, both real words (existing words) and wug words (non-existing words formed by two real characters) were included. The results show that, although the Laotian intermediate-level Chinese learners had an overall narrower pitch range and an obviously shorter duration in the third tone compared to native Chinese students, they could generally grasp the contour of the four lexical tones and distinguish between the third tone and the second tone in the production of monosyllabic words. In the disyllabic sequences, most of the Laotian students could master the tone sandhi rules related to the third tone, but their accuracy in producing wug words was lower than that in producing real words. Specifically, the error rate was highest for the "third tone + third tone" combinations, with the first third tone often mispronounced as a half-third tone, and the second third tone often mispronounced as a high-rising tone. Among the three variants of the third tone, the half-third tone was the best acquired by the Laotian intermediate-level learners, followed by the full third tone, and finally the rising tone, indicating that the learners had not fully internalized the phonological knowledge related to the Mandarin third tone. By utilizing a wug test in the production experiment of disyllabic sequences, this study fills in the gap of research on Laotian intermediate-level Chinese learners’ tonal acquisition and provides an in-depth examination of the production of the third tone and its related sandhi forms by this particular group of learners. The study comprehensively reveals the errors these learners make when producing the Mandarin third tone and its variants, offering a basis for teaching strategies for the third tone and its tone sandhi. |
