| 英文摘要 | This article discusses the academic foundation, development, contribution of artificial intelligence and challenges in public health. The academic basis for artificial intelligence to be applied to public health is: AI has the ability to communicate with humans, identification capabilities, large-capacity databases, fast calculation capabilities, and decision-making capabilities under given "specific conditions." The contributions of artificial intelligence applied to public health include: disease prediction, risk prediction, spatial modeling, electronic health records, health diagnosis, health monitoring, and public health policy making. Overall, AI improves the effectiveness, precision, and scalability of public health treatments. However, artificial intelligence also brings challenges: information privacy, algorithmic bias, fairness, accountability, transparency, etc. In the future, artificial intelligence will continue to develop and progress, and can handle more complex public health problems: while contributing, it will meet and respond to new challenges; and it will be integrated into the operation of public health to improve the efficiency of health and medical services. |
