英文摘要 | The bat flies Cyclopodia horsfieldi de Meijere, 1899 and Leptocyclopodia palawanensis (Theodor, 1959) are first recorded on the Philippine flying fox Acerodon leucotis (Sanborn, 1950), which is endemic to the forests of Balabac, Busuanga and mainland Palawan and currently listed as vulnerable by the IUCN. An overview of bat flies parasitic on flying foxes in the Philippines is provided and the possible role of bat flies as possible vectors of bat- associated parasites and disease agents is discussed. |
