中文摘要 | 臺灣的設計教育,自1957年國立臺灣藝術專科學校(現國立臺灣藝術大學)成立美術工藝科開始,歷經了半世紀以來的快速蓬勃發展,現今成為了設計相關科系百家爭鳴的局面。而設計教育也從早期聚焦於課堂的基礎設計訓練,轉變為結合產業脈動,國家政策的跨領域教學模式。本研究採質性研究方法,主要使用歷史研究法以及文獻分析法。以歷史研究法藉相關史料,建構出臺灣學生畢業展的發展源流與脈絡;最後利用文獻分析法進行文獻資料之分析,梳理臺灣設計教育成果展之發展源流,藉歷史樣貌的重現,紀錄臺灣設計教育成果展之脈絡,本研究將臺灣設計教育學生畢業成果展依各代表性學生畢業展及其相關活動起始時間為基準,分為四個項目:設計教育成果展萌芽期、設計教育畢業成果展發展確立期、設計教育學生畢業展推廣成熟期、設計教育成果展區域文化特色與跨領域建立期,研究結論建構出臺灣設計教育學生畢業成果展的發展樣貌,並發現設計活動的產生與國家設計政策的擬訂之關聯性。 |
英文摘要 | Taiwan's design education began in 1957 when the National Taiwan Art College (now the National Taiwan University of the Arts) established the Fine Arts and Crafts Department. After half a century of rapid development, it has promoted vigorous growth of many design-related departments in Taiwan's universities. The respective design education has also changed from the basic design training merely in the classroom to the cross disciplinary teaching mode that reflects industry trend and government policy. The qualitative approach applied in this paper includes historical research and documentary analysis methods. The former is used to construct the background and context of the student graduation exhibition in Taiwan while the latter is then to analyze the literature, to sort out the development of the Taiwan Design Education Achievement Exhibition, and to build the related connection with this exhibition in terms of its historical representation. This study investigates Taiwan's design education development in depth and divides Taiwan's students design exhibition history into four stages based on the timeframe, representative exhibitions and related activities. These stages which based on Taiwan's design education viewpoint are 1) inception: achievement exhibition; 2) development: graduation exhibition; 3) maturity: student graduation exhibition; and 4) localization and cross-disciplines: design education achievement exhibition. The study intends to identify the correlation between design activity and the formulation of national design policies through reviewing the student graduation exhibition that shows the development of Taiwan's design education. |
