中文摘要 | 本論文是探討「再現」概念應用於工業設計創作的研究。再現的本質是符號化的過程,而人類認知世界的方式,其實是一種將事物符號化或解讀符號的過程,因此本論文嘗試研究符號的組合原理,以協助工業產品的發想與設計,用來觸發情感以及產生創新思維。本文首先經由相關案例解析與文獻內容研討,了解再現觸發情感的機制,並在符號學理論中尋求對創新啟發的可能性,根據文獻探討結果提出運用於工業設計創作的執行方向。本文運用「再現」這一個符號學中的概念,發展出應用於工業設計的創作,研究結果顯示可以透過重組產品中的符號作為刺激觀者聯想的要素,並以這樣的方式來塑造產品情感魅力,而創新想法的產生則是可以透過觀者對於符號的誤讀,因而產生不同以往的想法。把握住以上兩項原則並透過本文所歸結的三個思考路徑,可以在創作過程中幫助觸發情感與產生創新想法,並期待能提供往後有志於研究「再現」作為設計主軸之設計者的創作參考。 |
英文摘要 | This paper is a study investigating the application of the concept of "representation" to industrial designs and creation. The essence of representation is the process of signification, and the way human beings understand the world is in fact a process in which things are signified or signs are interpreted. Therefore, this paper attempted to study the combination principle of signs in order to assist in the ideation and design of industrial products, trigger emotions, and generate creative ideas. This paper utilizes the concept of "representation" in semiotics to develop creative concepts to be applied to industrial designs. The study results show that the signs in the products could be recombined as elements to stimulate the association of viewers, and by means of such a method, to shape the emotional charm of the products. Innovative ideas could be generated through viewers' misinterpretation of the signs, which gave rise to thinking different from the past.. The above two principles, if properly grasped, and the three thinking paths concluded in this paper, if followed, can help to trigger emotions and generate innovative ideas in the process of creation. It is hoped that they can serve as a reference for creation for designers who aspire to study "representation" as the central theme of their designs in the future. |
