英文摘要 | Sportsmanship is a value among athletes consisted of fairness, obeying the referee, and being a good winner as well as being a good loser. Unfortunately,along with the commercialization in professional sports, some athletes,in order to pursue victory and gain monetary bonus,are more likely to show deviant behaviors (such as use of drugs and violent conducts). These behaviors affect motivation of athletes as well as undermine their professional goals of being higher, further, and faster. Theorists like Miller and Miller (in 張淑美等譯,2009) have conceptualized that if holistic approaches are to be applied on athlete5s training, the focus should lie in fulfilling their potentials and teaching them the spirit of fair play. This paper discusses meanings of sportsmanship and deviant behaviors, gives reviews and suggestions in view of the implementation of holistic education in order to enhance sportsmanship in domestic athletes. |
