| 英文摘要 | After the founding of PRC in 1949, scholars engaging in ancient Chinese literature criticism made conscious adjustment on the principle and academic methods of literary criticism in order to meet the mandatory transformation of the national ideology. Qian Zhongshu's Notes to Selected Poems in the Song Danasty was criticized by the young scholars during the great leap for its literature evaluation criteria, while it was mildly complimented by senior scholars. After the end of the Cultural Revolution, Qian Zhongshu reviewed the academic gain and loss, as well as the historical mentality, of the compilation of this book, reflecting the dilemma between going with the stream and being true to oneself. The controversy on this book is a glimpse of the time, reflecting the literary politics in mainland China in the 1950s and the literary beliefs of the compiler. |
