中文摘要 | 本研究採用實驗研究法,從參與實驗之台南市兩所國小五年級學生中篩選出103名自然與生活科技低成就學生,隨機分為實驗組與控制組,並以自然學科教學上倡導的STS教學法為實驗變項進行教學,以比較STS教學與傳統教學法對於低成就學生的影響效果;同時加入自我調整學習能力變項,以分析學習者本身的自我調整學習能力是否會與STS教學方法的操作對自然與生活科技低成就學童產生交互影響效果。本研究主要發現:改變傳統教學方法採用STS教學,對於自然與生活科技低成就學生之科學概念理解有顯著性之影響;惟學習者之自我調整學習能力則在問題解決能力及科學學習態度上具影響力。 |
英文摘要 | This study adopted an experimental design. A total of 103 fifth grade underachievers in natural science and technology were selected from two elementary schools in Tainan City, and randomly assigned to experimental and control groups. The former were taught with STS teaching strategies, while the latter were instructed using traditional teaching methods. The learners’ self-regulatory learning ability was introduced as an additional variable in the research design, in order to analyze the interaction effects between this ability and the teaching methods used. The major findings of the study were as follows: 1. The STS teaching method was a significant factor in facilitating the understanding of scientific concepts for these underachievers in natural science and technology classes. 2. The learners’ self-regulatory learning ability had a significantly positive influence on their problem-solving ability and their attitude toward learning science. |
