中文摘要 | 以電腦來輔助產品進行前期概念設計已經是常態,如生活用品、家具、空間設計、工業產品等。而木製家具使用的3D Studio MAX軟體在全球擁更數十萬以上的用戶,其操作介面由版本1.0以來已歷經10幾代的變更與修改,但仍常被使用者批評操作太過僵硬、缺少人性化設計。其大量的英文文字功能表單對於剛進入此專業領域且非以英語為母語的設計師來說更很大的學習障礙。本研究從使用者認知設計出發,以GOMS Model細化設計師操作軟體的過程,並配合深入訪談與分析,得出新手設計師與專家的操作時間差異,最大是在尋找功能按鈕上。接著以軟體的插件方式來進行個人化修改軟體的部分介面,在幾個常用的功能文字前面增加易於辨識的圖案後再請新手設計師重新測詴,結果顯示設計師在尋找按鈕功能時確實節省了很多時間。之後並以修改圖示後的介面讓設計師實際使用在木製家具設計上,除無不適應的反應外,也確實加快了整體模型完成的速度。設計師在軟體尚未提供更多的圖示化功能表單前,可根據工作所需強化部分的常用按鈕來使用,以建立友善之軟體環境,讓設計溝通更加快速,增加家具設計之效率與工作意願。 |
英文摘要 | Using computers to assist in pre-conceptual design of the product is already normal. All products are related to design, such as household goods, furniture, space design, and industrial products. Now the software of wooden furniture design is often used that is 3D Studio MAX. Hundreds of thousands of worldwide users employ the software in professional design works of wooden furniture. Using interface is from version 1.0 to changes and modifications of 10 generations. It is still often criticized from designers and users because the operation is too stiff and lack humanization. Most functions are still in plain English letters, instead of using the pattern to strengthen recognition. The interface is for designers who are just entering this professional field and non-native English speakers will have more learning disabilities because designers face a large text forms. In this study, it began from the user's cognitive design to GOMS Model refinement process for designers' operating software and made the in-depth interviews and analysis. The study found the biggest difference of the operating time of the novice designers and the experts to search the function buttons. Then, plug-in software in the personal way modified the software of the part interface and in front of several common used-function texts to increase identifiable pattern, and then asked novice designers to re-test. The findings showed that designers search button functions and they really saves a lot of time. The study modified the icon interface that allowed designers actually used in wooden furniture design. In addition, designers had non-maladaptive responses and indeed accelerated the speed of the overall model accomplishment. Designers has not been shown to provide more drawing-based function form on the software before designers could base on the work requirement to strengthen some common used-buttons to operate and to create environment friendliness of the software. It is to allow designers to communicate more quickly and to increase the efficiency of furniture design and work willingness. |
