| 中文摘要 | 我國學生英語能力的雙峰現象明顯,且學生學習動機低落。然研究者觀察到學生於課餘時間常談及遊戲,或許將遊戲運用於教學可見成效。故本研究之研究目的為:(一)探討遊戲化策略於國中九年級英語教學實施遭遇的困難與解決之道;(二)瞭解國中九年級學生對遊戲化策略融入英語教學的意見與回饋。本研究以臺灣中部一所國中,一班26位九年級生為研究對象,實施遊戲化策略應用之英語句型複習課程,共計180分鐘。以教師省思與學生意見回饋單收集資料後進行質性分析處理。本研究得到教學設計須注意之若干要點,及學生持正向回饋的結果,並提出往後相關主題研究之建議。 |
| 英文摘要 | The world village has formed today. English as a world-widely used language is emphasized in education of many countries. In Taiwan, that the bimodal distribution of students’ English learning performance is quite serious. Students aren’t engaged in English-learning. It, however, is common to find out students’ interests in games, so the researcher wonders if it works to apply games to English teaching. Therefore, the followings are the purposes of this pilot study: (1) to explore the obstacles encountered during the application of gamification in English class, and find the possible solutions. (2) to know the feedback and suggestions given by the students toward the application of gamification in English class. There were 26 ninth-graders participating in this study. The teaching period contained four classes, 180 minutes in total. Through the teacher’s teaching reflection and the students’ feedback, the qualitative data was collected and analyzed. The inducted findings were discussed in two aspects: (1) the obstacles and possible solutions of gamification in English classes, (2) the feedback and suggestions from the students. As the references of future related researches on gamification as a teaching strategy, several notes were also raised. |
