| 英文摘要 | In traditional mounting of Chinese art works, regardless the color and material of the base and framing parts, the main objective is to accentuate the gist of the artworks. And overly ornate and bright coloration of the surrounding parts should be avoided. Thus, color-matching mainly aims to harmonize between the core of artwork and framing materials, the matching is based on the same color series (harmonic of similar colorations) and contrasting color series (harmonic of contrasting colorations). The dyeing materials are divided into plant-based, animal-based, mineral-based and synthetic dyestuff groups. Dyeing of paper is either by staining the fibers first and then form into paper or forming the paper first and then dyeing sheets. The latter approach is further achieved by dipping, dragging-through, brushing and silk-screening staining methods. Silk fabrics when used as framing materials are dyed, weaved and then backed paper; backed paper and then dyed whole; the paper is first dyed and then backed by the silk fabric; and paper backing use stained paste. |
