英文摘要 | Both upconversion and down conversion β-NaYF4 hexagonal nanorods with different dopant ions and doping levels have been hydrothermally synthesized according to the modified liquid-solid-solution (LSS) synthetic strategy. X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and photoluminescence (PL) spectra were used to characterize the samples. The photoluminescence properties of β-NaYF4 : xYb3+/yEr3+ (x/y = 18/2 or 60/2 mol %) nanorods exhibit the characteristic upconversion emissions of Yb3+/Er3+ ion pairs under the excitation using a 980 nm CW semiconductor diode laser. The luminescence colors of the compounds show green and red luminescence by changing the doping levels of Yb3+. Furthermore, the photoluminescence properties of β-NaYF4 : xEu3+ (x = 1, 5, 10, 15 mol %) exhibit the characteristic down conversion emissions of Eu3+ (5DJ → 7Fj,J = 0, 1, 2; J’ = 0, 1, 2, 3, 4) under 405 nm excitation, the emissions from high energy level transitions (5D1 and 5D2) are impaired with increasing Eu3+ doping level due to the cross-relaxation process. |
