英文摘要 | This study aims not only to explore opinions from graduate students of Japanese-language on employment directions in Taiwan, but also to develop curriculum planning through feedback from questionnaire results. Participants include 326 students from 14 graduate institutes. Followings are conclusions from this study:1. Approximately 2/3 of graduate students are satisfied with the education they received; however, there are also 2/3 of them consider inadequacy regarding employment directions. 2. Pursuing advanced academic research is significant and positive from graduate education system. 3. Graduate education carries great weight regarding character building. 4. Receiving a master's degree is socially-functional. It is not merely beneficial to employment, but also aggressively self-assured while graduating from national and well-known universities. 5. It helps to uplift competencies of Japanese-language. 6. Japanese-language education seems to be more appealing when it comes to employment on academic field aspect. 7. Knowledge and skills regarding employment are seriously inadequate. Practical learning that helps employment directions is also insufficient.It is suggested that adjustments should be made regarding curriculum and teaching context, especially teachers involved in employment and career planning need more on-job training and further education. |
