| 中文摘要 | 近年來台灣製造業面臨作業員來源不足、工資大幅上漲及環保意識高漲等多重壓力,企業為圖生存,是以紛紛前往海外投資設廠。因大陸與台灣文化、語言相近似,引發了台灣製造業前往大陸投資的熱潮。但由於兩岸政經環境有所差異,故其在製造策略方面亦應有差異處,以適應不同之經營環境。本研究主要是透過兩岸製造業問卷調查,以探討台商在兩岸所採用的製造策略概況及其是否有差異存在。研究結果顯示:(1)在製造能力方面:兩岸台商在5個構面(品質、服務、交期、彈性、價格)上皆有顯著的差異存在。例如台灣製造業認為品質為最優先發展的製造能力;而大陸台商則認為價格為最優先發展的製造能力。(2)在製造目標方面:只有彈性構面有顯著差異存在,其中大陸台商在彈性重視程度上的認知高於台灣製造業。(3)對於製造決策過去兩年效果:台灣製造業在各構面(產品設計、人力資源、製程科技、生產規畫與控制、品質管理、一般管理)的成效認知上皆高於大陸台商,且呈現顯著差異。 |
| 英文摘要 | Recently, Taiwan manufacturing firms have been confronted with a labor force scarcity, higher labor costs; and environmental problems. Firms in Taiwan are being forced to move to overseas to regain their competitive advantage. Due to the similarity of language and culture between Taiwan and Mainland China, most of these firms have moved to Mainland China. However, the economic and political environments are quite different between Taiwan and Mainland China. Firms might revise their manufacturing strategy to adapt to the new environments to maintain their competitive advantage. Therefore, it is worth investigating the changes being made. This study investigates what difference of manufacturing strategy (i.e. manufacturing capabilities, manufacturing objectives, manufacturing decision) between mother(Taiwan) and son(Mainland China) firms. By collecting empirical data related to the manufacturing strategies of these firms, through statistical analysis, we can find that (1) There exists significant differences in five dimensions of the manufacturing capabilities ( quality, service, delivery time, flexibility and price) between the firms in the two sides of Taiwan strait. (2) For manufacturing objectives, only one dimension (flexibility) appears significantly different between Taiwanese firms and Mainland Chinese firms. (3) Taiwanese firms have successful perceptions of the all dimensions of the manufacturing decision than Mainland Chinese firms have. |
