| 中文摘要 | 太陽能為全球最豐富的再生能源,在日照充足的北緯及南緯15度至40度之間的乾燥區(Arid Areas)及半乾燥區(Semi-Arid Areas)中,選取其中小於1%的面積從事太陽能發電,透過電網傳輸,即可供應全球的電力需求。本文簡述太陽光電(Photovoltaic, PV)及聚熱式太陽能發電(Concentric Solar Power, CSP)之發電成本,並比較四種聚熱式太陽能發電技術,認為塔式聚熱太陽能發電,有潛力成為基載(Base Load)發電,可達到傳統燃煤、燃氣或核能電廠的規模。 本文並介紹塔式聚熱太陽能發電之關鍵技術,在應用方面,介紹太陽熱能將水及二氧化碳分解,分別產生氫氣及一氧化碳等技術。由於塔式聚熱太陽能發電技術日新月異,且發電成本終會低於傳統電廠,我國臺灣地區天然資源缺乏,可選擇塔式聚熱太陽能關鍵技術中效率最高的部分整合應用,建立塔式聚熱太陽能電廠,從事基載發電,供應穩定的電力,並減低溫室效應氣體排放。 |
| 英文摘要 | Solar energy is the most abundant renewable energy in the world. Good Direct Solar Irradiation areas are usually found in arid and semi-arid areas with reliably clear skies, which typically lay at latitudes from 15° to 40° North or South. Less than 1% of the arid and semi-arid areas are enough to supply the global power needed. Electricity can be transported over long distances to demand countries. In this article, economical feasibilities of photovoltaic and concentric solar thermal powers were evaluated. Four types of concentric solar thermal power technologies were briefly compared. Among these, the solar thermal tower technology was known to have the potential to provide base load power, and to act as alternate of coal fired, gas fired and nuclear power plant. Solar thermal tower technology can also be used to produce H2 and CO through splitting of H2O and CO2, respectively. In Taiwan, fossil fuel resources are almost negligible. Solar power tower plants should be developed and installed. |
