中文摘要 | 本文在緊急救護視覺傳達的系列研究中以中風安全評估圖解說明為例,著重於視覺訊息設計中內容正確(Accuracy)與呈現效能(Efficiency)兩大重點進行訊息內容的蒐集、資料彙整與訊息管理,以確立訊息內容正確性,在所蒐集管理之文獻中探討現存中風評估說明圖之資訊傳播結構的安排與內容的呈現,建立使用者理解效能與使用檢核表,並針對文字語言與圖像語言的傳意功能進行測試與討論,提出中風安全評估的緊急救護說明圖之設計架構與要點。本研究之實施步驟分為兩個階段,第一階段確立訊息內容正確性,進行訊息內容的蒐集與瞭解、過濾與彙整、使用對象理解以及訊息管理與確立,落實完整視覺資訊設計的思維,確保所提供資訊內容的量與質。第二階段設計物在視覺資訊呈現效能的展現中進行訊息結構自內向外的研究探討檢核,由檢核表的建立中涉及了資訊策略、訊息結構、視覺呈現等由根本至外觀,乃至於使用界面一連串的設計關鍵,包括樣本確立、理解效能與認知心理測試、圖文關係與設計要素探究。研究結果除了探討與分析現有評估說明圖的視覺訊息傳達的狀況,根據文獻整理與專家訪問以探究中風定義與評估的重要性,歸納出完整中風評估流程,以建立說明圖的整體架構,亦實施使用者測試,深入瞭解受測者對於文案說明、圖像設計與說明圖整體傳達效果在理解效能上的差異。 |
英文摘要 | Among series of visual information design studies in the field of safe and emergencies, this paper focuses on examining stroke-rapid-response explanation graphics. With the emphasis of contents' accuracy and the effectiveness of representation, this study collected, studied, and categorized the information in order to manage the information in a way for users to diagnose and treat strokes correctly. A stroke-rapid-response visual explanation with its corresponding information is a must for raising public awareness of emergency first-aid. In view of the visual language in graphics, the critical question arises as to what roles the various texts and images play within an explanation graphic. This research examines the aforementioned visual elements' pros and cons for effective information delivery by investigating (1) the accuracy of the contents, and (2) the effectiveness of the current materials. Besides the processes of information management, this investigation also established a check-list to confirm the processes. Furthermore, this study analyzed the data collected from structured surveys, and interviewed experts and users for their related perceptions and understandings. Results show that the relationship between visual elements, including texts, images and icons, should take form depending upon the circumstances. Most users have an easier time understanding surrealistic concepts through textual representation than pictorial representation. In contrast, pictorial representation can depict concrete forms and ideas more precisely than textual representation. The suggestions for the relation of textual and visual information are provided for the holistic view in making better visual information. |
