中文摘要 | 目前高齡者人口比例有明顯提升的趨勢,而老化通常會造成運動、知覺、認知等方面機能遲緩。為了解高齡者操作人機介面(如:自動販賣機、售票投幣系統等)是否有困擾。因此本研究針對年輕與高齡兩族群的視覺觸覺認知差異進行探討,實驗設計係選擇將5種不同厚度和直徑的硬幣各十枚,由15位年輕人和17位高齡者投入投幣盒中,評估其反應的正確性及速度,以了解兩族群的差異。分析結果發現:(1)在投擲至成功的平均次數和平均時間,高齡者(2.472次和7.184秒)與年輕人(1.841次和4.785秒)達顯著差異。(2)硬幣第一次就投擲至正確洞孔的平均枚數方面,年輕人(24.885枚)多於高齡者(19.055枚),但未達顯著差異。(3)高齡者對於五種硬幣相互混淆的現象和年輕人是相似的但混淆程度較年輕人嚴重。 |
英文摘要 | There is an obvious uprising trend on the proportion of the seniors, and aging usually slows down the motion, consciousness, and cognition function. In order to understand whether there exists difficulty in operating Human-Machine Interfaces, such as vending machines and automated slot ticketing systems, for the seniors, this research investigated the differences of sense of sight and touch between the youth and the aged. The experiment design is as follows: we designed five kinds of coins with different thicknesses and/or diameters and prepared 10 coins for each kind; 15 young persons and 17 aged persons were asked to insert the coins into the slots, and the tester assessed the accuracy and the speed of the subjects' reaction to analyze the difference between the two age groups. The analysis results are: (1) The average counts and duration till success are significantly different between the two groups; (2) The average counts of successfully inserting the coins into the right slots on the first try are higher in the young group, although the difference is not significant; (3) The phenomenon of mixing up the five different kinds of coins are similar between the young and the aged. |
