| 中文摘要 | 本研究以溶膠凝膠乳化技術合成中空二氧化矽微膠囊,採用四乙基矽氧烷 (Tetraethyl orthosilicate,TEOS)為矽的來源、Span 80為乳化劑以及礦物油作為油相。水相組成為TEOS、乙醇與水以1:3:4的比例混合,酸催化水解並加熱縮合得到TEOS凝膠後混合油相(Span 80:礦物油為10:38.7)成為乳化態,完成縮合反應得到中空二氧化矽微膠囊粉體。 探討製程對於產率影響發現改變乳化攪拌時間對於產率有提升作用。另一方面,發現pH值越低、水解攪拌時間越久、水解攪拌速度越快還有乳化攪拌速度越快,對水解乳化的完全度有提升作用而降低粒徑的大小。當pH值為1的時候雖有最小粒徑(1629.33±149.26 nm),但產率偏低(70.4%)。 綜合各參數影響,以最適製備條件pH值1.5、縮合反應1400 rpm攪拌90 min、乳化時間1400 rpm攪拌90 min重複製作二氧化矽微膠囊三次。之平均產率為82.8±0.4 %;平均粒徑為1058.00±106.93 nm。 紫外線防護能力方面,發現含10%空心二氧化矽微膠囊防曬乳之SPF值為11.27±0.08與含10%二氧化鈦防曬乳SPF值11.57±0.22接近。Crit. Wavelength(二氧化矽微膠囊362.95 nm、二氧化鈦358.73 nm)以及Curve Area(二氧化矽微膠囊75.45、二氧化鈦72.33也相近。而在UVA/UVB Ratio二氧化矽微膠囊(0.347)明顯優於二氧化鈦(0.234)達48%。綜合結果,可知二氧化矽微膠囊本身具有成為物理性防曬劑的潛力。 |
| 英文摘要 | In this study, hollow silica microcapsules were synthesized by technique of sol-gel/emulsion, which Silica resource is from tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS), emulsifier is Span 80, and oil phase is mineral oil. Water phase is a mixture of TEOS, ethanol and water in the ratio of 1:3:4. Applying acid-catalyzed hydrolysis and heating to get condensation of TEOS gel, the oil phase mixture (Span 80: mineral oil is 10:38.7) becoming emulsion state, and then we can complete the condensation reaction of hollow silica microcapsules powder. Exploring the impact regarding to the yield of the process, we can find that changing the emulsion stirring time could improve the yield rate. On the other hand, lower pH value, longer mixing time, mixing faster, and higher speed of emulsification stirring, could improve the full degree of hydrolysis emulsion, which improvement result into a reduce of particle size. When pH value is 1, although we can have the smallest particle size (1629.33 ± 149.26 nm), but the yield rate is low (70.4%). Let´s sum up the impact of each parameter, using the optimized process; pH 1.5, condensation of 1400 rpm and stirring 90 min, emulsification stirring 1400 rpm and emulsification time 90 min, to repeat production of silica micro-capsules three times. The average yield rate is 82.8 ± 0.4%; and average diameter is 1058.00 ± 106.93 nm. For Ultraviolet Protection, we found that containing 10% of hollow silica microcapsules which sunscreen SPF value is 11.27 ± 0.08; and containing 10% titanium dioxide which sunscreen SPF value is 11.57 ± 0.22. Both of them are very close. Crit. Wavelength (silica microcapsules 362.95 nm, titanium dioxide 358.73 nm) and Curve Area (silica microcapsules 74.55 nm, titanium dioxide 372.33 nm) are also similar. Regarding to ratio of UVA / UVB, silica microcapsule is 48% better than titanium dioxide. Combined all results, we can see silica microcapsules has his own physical properties of sun protection. |
