中文摘要 | 雖然網際網路蒐羅了很多語文真實教材,但仍有相當多的英文教師不知如何將其有效融入教學,因此,有必要推介實用可行的教案設計,並探討其效應。本個案研究的主要目的在調查FEL學生對網路文章分享活動的態度及看法,34位修習大一英文原建制班級學生參與本研究,分析學生書面感言及訪談資料後,本研究發現多數學生的態度由最初的惶恐逐漸變為悅納,他們認為網路文章分享的優點有:(一)增強英文學習,(二)改善人際關係,(三)營造活潑學習氣氛,(四)增廣課外見聞,(五)強化電腦素養;而缺點及限制為:(一)加重課業負擔,(二)同儕漠不關心;(三)技術支援問題。 |
英文摘要 | Although the World Wide Web stores an immense library of authentic materials for language classroom, relatively few EFL teachers in Taiwan are capable of using this technology effectively to participate in structured instructional experiences. Applicable instructional designs are needed and the investigations on the effects of the activities are also necessary. The purpose of the study was to introduce an instructional design for an application of WWW to TEFL and investigate how college EFL learners perceive the procedures. An intact English class of 34 students participated in the study. An activity of web-based article sharing was integrated into the reading class. Every other week, the subjects were engaged in the activities in cooperative learning groups. At the end of the semester, the students were requested to write a reflection paper on the instructional technique. Interviews were conducted in the second semester. Their reflections and interview data werer collected and analyzed. It was found that the students had experienced from being apprehensive to being appreciative. The advantages recommended by the subjects can be synthesized into five categories: (1) enhancing English learning, (2) improving interpersonal relationships, (3) creating lively climate, (4) expanding knowledge, and (5) strengthening computer competence. The drawbacks suggested by the students are summarized as three categories: (1) heavier workload, (2) peer's indifference, and (3) mechanical problems. |
