中文摘要 | 背景與目的:冷療(cryotherapy)已被廣泛使用在減輕腫脹、產生局部麻痺與止痛, 是處理急性運動傷害最合適的物理因子。然而,鮮少有研究探討其熱能傳導與周遭環境 之間的關係。本研究探討包裹毛巾的冷敷包與周遭空氣、絕緣物質接觸時的溫度變化情 形。方法:將冷敷包由-10℃冷凍庫中取出,以紅外線熱影像儀測量冷敷包表面溫度後, 迅速將冷敷包以兩層乾毛巾包裹,並置於包覆絕緣合成皮墊的木質治療床上。分別以酒 精溫度計與紅外線熱影像儀記錄絕緣床面(毛巾與治療床接觸面)與毛巾最外層(與周 遭空氣接觸面)的溫度變化。每分鐘記錄一次溫度,共記錄27 分鐘。結果:毛巾最外 層與絕緣床面的平均溫差隨著冷敷操作時間的增加而顯著地增加,兩者平均溫差以第1 分鐘較小(平均溫差3.6℃,95%信賴區間為1.1℃至6.1℃,p=0.011),第27 分鐘較大 (平均溫差14.5℃,95%信賴區間為12.7℃至16.2℃,p<0.001),其中第20 分鐘的平均 溫差13.9℃(95%信賴區間為11.7℃至16.0℃,p<0.001)。結論:冷敷包所接觸的周遭 環境特質會影響熱能的傳導能力。 |
英文摘要 | Background and Purpose:Cryotherapy has been widely used to decrease edema, induce local analgesia, and release pain. It is well suited to successful management of acute sport injuries. However, the relationship between the ambient environment characteristics and thermal conductivity of cold packs has not well been investigated. In this study, the temperature changes of towel-wrapped cold packs were explored in the outer layer of towel that contact with the ambient air as well as in the other that contact with the insulating bed surface. Method:Cold pack was taken from a -10oC freezer, and its surface temperature was record immediately by infrared thermography. After this, the cold pack was quickly wrapped in two layers of dry towel and then put on the insulating bed surface for 27 minutes. The temperature changes in the insulating bed surface and the outer layer of towel were recorded by alcohol thermometer and infrared thermography, respectively, with a sampling rate of 1 minute. Results:The mean temperature differences between the outer layer of towel and the insulating bed surface increased significantly following the application of clod pack. It was smaller in the first minute (mean difference 3.6 oC, 95% CI 1.1-6.1 oC, p=0.011) and larger in the 27th minute (mean difference 14.5 oC, 95% CI 12.7-16.2 oC, p<0.001). In addition, the mean temperature difference was 13.9 oC in the 20th minute (95% CI 11.7-16.0 oC, p<0.001). Conclusion:Thermal conductivity of cold packs can be affected by the environmental characteristics. |
