中文摘要 | 近年來,教學評值的工作對於提升高等教育的品質具有舉足輕重的影響,它不僅僅 只是提供行政單位一個績效評值的成績,更重要的是要能協助教師改善其教學上的缺點 並且提升其專業的發展。因此教育機構非常需要建立一套系統化監控改善流程,來確保 教學的品質。基於這樣的動機,本篇研究依循六個標準差提出定義、量測、分析、改善、 控管等步驟去建構一個教學品質評量模式,此模式不僅提供一個問卷量化的方法來指出 教學的問題,也提供機構或教師一些工具如何處理後續一連串的改善行動。首先,此模式 陳述並定義評值的項目、對象以及關於教學品質上問題,接下來,我們提出問卷量化的 指標去量測三方評值關係人看法的落差;然後將這些指標呈現在一個重要度與績效分析 矩陣上,做為整合分析討論的工具。本研究希望透過這個模式,幫助教育機構或教師個 人一套系統化的方式去執行許多教學改善的工作,包括哪些教學項目應優先改善,如何 找出改善的行動或對策,進而最後形成一個例行有效的管控機制。 |
英文摘要 | Recently, teaching evaluation has been deeply engaged in upgrading the quality of higher education. It doesn’t just provide for administrative departments an evaluation score about teaching performance, but should also actively assist instructors to improve on the shortcomings in their teaching and enhance their professional development. Therefore, a systematical review and monitoring management scheme is critical and essential for any instructional institution. Based on this motivation and following the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC) model of Six Sigma, this paper constructs a Teaching Quality Evaluation Scheme (TQES), which not only provides a questionnaire quantification method to identify the teaching problems, but also is concerned with how the instructional organization or individuals should respond in the follow-up. First, TQES states and defines the evaluation mode, objects, and problems relative to teaching quality. Next, we propose quantitative indicators which measure the perceived gaps in teaching performance between students, organizational committees, and instructors through the questionnaire evaluation. Additionally, an integrated analysis matrix is also proposed to display the Importance and Performance Analysis (IPA) of each teaching quality attribute in an instructional organization’s questionnaire. By using TQES, we hope to provide for organizations or individuals a systematized method to carry out the tasks involved in teaching improvement, including the direction and priorities of such improvement, and taking appropriate action and countermeasures in order to further build an effective monitoring and controlling scheme. |
