中文摘要 | 1990年的〈世紀末的華麗〉,朱天文將都市生活的空虛頹廢與物質享樂,描繪得淋漓盡致,創造了女性戀物的代表性人物-米亞;2007年,朱天文再次以長篇作品《巫言》表現其於「物件書寫」上的執著與精細,米亞/巫者的形象,便成為朱天文書寫中重要的象徵。而物件在架構此一「巫者之境」的過程中,更扮演了重要的角色。《巫言》中堆砌的大量物件細節與日常瑣事之鋪陳,看似與朱天文過往的戀物書寫並無不同,深究之下卻已經發生了轉變。朱天文在《巫言》當中採取離題岔路的敘事方式,亦凸顯出物件書寫的時間意義,使「戀物」成為一種可能是抗拒線性時間流逝的力量,並且透過賦予物件意義而讓抽象的時間成為具體,為主體「定錨」。本文討論了朱天文《巫言》當中的物件書寫與主體建構,企圖分析朱天文作品中戀物/戀字的心理,以及物件意義與時間意義的關係,進一步為朱天文之物件書寫梳理出較具系統性的脈絡。 |
英文摘要 | In "The Splendor of Fin de Siècle" (1990), Zhu Tianwen thoroughly depicts empty decadence and material comforts of city life and creates a representative of female fetishism, Mia; Zhu's novel Sorcerers' Discourse (2007) further shows her persistence and sophistication on the writing of objects, so the image of Mia/sorcerer becomes an important symbol in her writing. Besides, objects play a crucial element in the process of constructing "the land of sorcerers" as well. In Sorcerers' Discourse, it seems nothing different from Zhu's past writing of fetishism; however, it reveals that the change has taken place if we consider it carefully. She selects the way of digression to emphasize the temporal meaning of the writing of objects which makes fetishism turn into a possible power of resisting linear time elapsing. Furthermore, she transforms abstract time into concrete form by giving significances to the objects and then she "orients" the subject. This paper discusses the writing of objects and the construction of subject in Zhu Tianwen's Sorcerers' Discourse is aimed at analyzing the psychology of fetish about objects and words in Zhu's works and the relationship between the meanings of objects and time so as to establish more systematic discourse of Zhu's writing of objects. |
