中文摘要 | 台灣的地圖學在過去幾十年來,產生極大變化。本研究蒐集了五個大學地圖課程的內容,加以比較學分、師資與設備,從中整理出台灣地區發展簡史。同時透過碩、博士論文及相關期刊閱讀,彙整出台灣在地圖研究趨勢上以教育與認知的探討最多,但僅少數人涉及地圖的設計與簡化議題,不過近年來在地理資訊系統如類神經網路則穩健發展。 |
英文摘要 | Professional cartography has greatly changed in Taiwan over the past several decades. In this paper the cartographic curriculum from live universities' was collected and their credit, instructor and equipment were compared. The results were then outlined based on the academic cartography evolution process. Furthermore, a review of theses, dissertations and professional journals showed that perception and education about cartography was the most popular research topic in Taiwan. Only a few scholars, however, were involved in map design and map generalization. The application of Geographic Information Systems, such as neural networks, on the other hand, has received increasing attention in recent years. |
