中文摘要 | 由於鑄鐵材料使用的範圍日趨廣泛,使用於高溫環境中或需要良好導熱性質之鑄件需求量也日益增加,例如:汽車的煞車碟盤、排氣歧管或汽車引擎的汽缸...等都使用於高溫環境中,熱傳導性質對此類鑄件而言格外重要;而影響鑄鐵熱傳導性質的因素中主要包括:基地相、石墨型態及合金元素…等三大類。因此在本研究針對此三大因素對鑄件所造成之室溫與高溫熱傳導性質進行量測與探討,並運用理論推算鑄件之熱傳導性質,討論理論計算與試驗值之差異,藉此研究提供以基地相、石墨型態及合金元素調控鑄鐵熱傳導性質之方向。研究結果顯示本研究之熱導模擬計算結果與量測值相近,其結果顯示基地相對熱導性質之影響並不顯著,而片狀石墨具備最佳之熱導性質,添加合金元素則會改變顯微組織,進而影響鑄鐵的熱導性質。 |
英文摘要 | Cast iron is widely used for its growing demands in high temperature environment, e.g. disc brakes, engine exhaust manifolds and cylinders, etc. Thermal conduction properties of such castings are particularly important in these applications. The current research studies the effects of three factors upon thermal conductivity of cast irons including matrix phase, shape of graphite, and alloying elements. Both room temperature and high-temperature thermal conductivity are measured to compare with theoretically predicted values. It is found that the calculated thermal conductivity matches well with the measured values. The matrix phase has little effects on thermal conductivity, while flake graphite greatly increases thermal conductivity of cast irons. Alloying elements affect thermal conductive properties of cast irons mainly through microstructure modifications. |
