| 中文摘要 | 過去的研究報告顯示大專生的英文寫作中最常出現的錯誤是正確的使用動詞。這些錯誤的發生 是因為大專生對英文的文法不熟悉及受到中文寫作方式的影響。為了了解學生常犯的動詞錯誤類 型,研究的老師收集五專應用外語科三年級及四年級學生作文共750 篇。仔細檢查了每一篇學生的 作文並根據錯誤的類型分類呈現。分析的結果顯示主動詞不一致性、B 動詞與一般動詞同出現在一 個句子、缺乏動詞、動詞時式錯誤及助動詞後跟隨不定詞等為前五大最常出現的錯誤。本研究的目 的是歸納出這些常見的動詞錯誤以幫助學生避免犯相同的錯誤。 另外,本研究的目的是提供結果 給技專校院英文老師作為教學參考用,了解學生常犯的動詞錯誤並加強教導相關的文法。 |
| 英文摘要 | According to previous studies, college students are weak on the correct usage of verbs in English writing. These English writing errors on verbs are generated because college students are not familiar with the second language grammar rules. The other reason is that the first language (L1) influences the second language (L2) when it comes to writing. Hence, the researchers collected 750 pieces of students’ composition from Applied Foreign Languages Majors who were 3rd and 4th graders when this study was conducted. They examined each written work and categorized errors into different types based on their similarities. The results shows that the no agreement between subject and verb, misusing in forming the passive voice (verb B and verb simultaneously appear in one sentence), missing verb, misusing verb tense and unwanted infinitive after auxiliary verb are the most common errors appeared in students’ English writing productions. The purpose of this study is to show to the college students these common English writing errors on verbs in order to help them avoid committing similar mistakes. Also, the purpose of this study is to provide vocational college teachers a reference, so teachers can understand the common English writing errors and enrich their teaching approach based on these findings. |
