中文摘要 | 人體在正常代謝過程中會產生自由基( free radical)與活性氧,而自由基在人類所發生許多疾病的發展上,扮演重要的角色,換句話說,自由基所導致的氧化傷害對人體健康有相當大的影響。正常生理狀況下,自由基在身體中維持平衡狀態,不會對身體造成傷害,但當自由基不正常地累積時,就會使身體正常機能受到傷害並導致疾病,為了維持體內自由基的平衡,人體中有一套抗氧化系統幫助我們清除多餘的自由基,包含許多酶參與的酵素系統以及維他命 C、E等相輔相成的作用,建構起人體的保護網。 目前常用於分析抗氧化活性的方法很多,本文簡要介紹了幾種評估方法,包括清除 xanthine / xanthine oxidase所產生之超氧陰離子( superoxide anion radical,O2-)的作用、捕捉過氧化氫( H2O2)的能力測定、還原力測定、清除 DPPH(α ,α-diphenylβ-pricrylhydrazyl)自由基能力測定、硫代巴比妥酸( TBA)法和生物化學發光法清除氧自由基能力評估等。 |
英文摘要 | In the process of human metabolism, free radical and reactive oxygen arise normally. Free radicals play an important role in many human diseases development. In other words, oxidation induced by free radicals has high impact on human health. Under normal physiology, stable and balanced free radicals will do no harm to human body. However, abnormal accumulation of free radicals will affect regular human body functions and resulted in diseases. To keep free radicals in stability, an antioxidant system to remove excessive free radicals exists in human body. Along with the system composed of several enzymes and Vitamin C and E, all these interactions to build up the protection shield for human against diseases. Currently, various methods are available for antioxidant activity evaluation. This article introduce following methods: scavenging of superoxide anion radical O2-· caused by xanthine / xanthine oxidase, measurement of H2O2 capturebility, restore ability, elimination of DPPH(α , α-diphenyl-β-pricrylhydrazyl)free radicals, TBA method and Biochemical luminescence. |
