中文摘要 | 有學者曾提出在生物體细胞的發展過程中,老化所誘發的神經性退化過程是典活性氧物質的產生有關,且這些活性氧物質可被生物髓内抗氧化防票系统所清除。本實驗以老化促進小鼠(Senescence-accelerated mice prone 8; SAMP8)為實驗動物封象,區分3月、5月、7月及1歲龄等四階段的老化促進小鼠,探討不同年龄階層的老化促進小鼠的瑙組織、肝组織舆心臟组織之抗氧化酵素-觸酶對老化的改變。老化促進小鼠(SAMP8)是常被用来探討因老化所引起的學習舆記憶障礙的研究模式;然而,近年来也有學者将老化促進小鼠用来研究有關阿滋海默症所引起老化之學習舆記憶障礙。在本實驗中,将偵测老化對老化促進小鼠的腦组織、肝組織舆心臓组織之抗氧化酵素-觸酶的改燮。 |
英文摘要 | It has been proposed that neurodegenerative processes of aging are associated with the generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) during cellular metabolism. These reactive oxygen species are scavenged by antioxidant enzymes in biological systems. The study was designed to determine the catalase activities in brain, heart and liver tissues of SAMP8 mice and to determine if any alterations occurred with age (one year, 3 month- and 5 month-old SAMP8). The senescence-accelerated mice (SAM P8) is a useful model for the investigation related to the learning and memory deficits of aging. Moreover, recent evidence suggests that SAMPS may have relevance to age-associated cognitive decline in Alzheimer's disease (AD). In the study, some data of catalase activities in brain, heart and liver tissues was to determine if any age-related changes in SAMP8 mice. |
