中文摘要 | 老人照護是一件非常重要的問題,如同美國、日本、英國與台灣,根據統計,台灣有72%的老人一年內曾經跌倒一次。在這一篇論文中,為了行動緩慢與患有慢性病的老人,我們著重在利用單一攝影機發展自動化老人上下床偵測系統。架構在簡單與快速的移動偵測與二值化影像匹配演算法,我們能夠自動的提醒專業的護士,一個房間內六床中的哪一床老人即將上床或下床。支援萬用存取的觀點,床態偵測系統採用二層式H.264影像壓縮技術來作為老人當時跌倒時的狀態存證。實驗結果證明我們有95%的偵測率確保老人的確需要護士即時的輔助,且無失真影像壓縮技術比過去的壓縮標準有更好的壓縮效能。 |
英文摘要 | Elder care is an important issue in many developed countries such as U.S., Japan, England and Taiwan. According to statistics, there are 72% of the elder that fall in one year in Taiwan. In this paper, we focus on the bed status detection (BSD) algorithm for the chronic ailment and slowly acting elders in the elder care center (ECC). Based on simple and fast motion estimation (ME) and binary area matching (BAM) methods, the professional nurse can be automatically reminded by BSD system which one of six elders will go to or leave bed in a room which sets up a single camera. From universal access viewpoint, the image compression for BSD is implemented by two-layer coding structure, which adopts H.264 lossy image coding as based layer, and add a difference layer to compensate the lossy portion. Simulation results show that the proposed BSD has a 95% detection rate to assure the elder's requirement immediately and the two-layer lossless image coding structure has better compression performance than the previous standards. |
