中文摘要 | 最近語言教學及評量相關研究強調學生主動建構知識及自主學習的重要性。因此,許多取代傳統教學法的創新英語教學及評量方法被提出。當中最受囑目的就是學習檔案。本研究的目的為簡介學習檔案的特色、理論基礎及其運用於語言學習及教學相關之研究。許多的理論,如建構主義、全語言、多元智能、閱讀寫作關聯性及過程寫作法等,都支持學習檔案於語言學習及教學之運用。這些理論強調學習者主動參與語言學習及評量的過程,也強調真實且有意義的評量方式。建基於這些理論基礎,學習檔案被運用於不同的領域及階層之語言學習。相關研究指出學習檔案有益於英文讀寫能力的發展、文化的學習,且能培養學生對語言學習有正面的態度。有鑑於此,學習檔案應多為推廣及應用於外語教學上。 |
英文摘要 | The recent research on language pedagogies and assessment approaches has emphasized the significance of learners’ active knowledge constructions and learner autonomy. As a result, many alternative teaching and assessment approaches have been proposed. Among those alternative approaches, portfolios have gained the most attention. This study thus intends to have a survey on portfolios by describing the traits, theoretical foundations and applications of portfolios in language teaching and learning. Several theories provide the theoretical foundations for the applications of portfolios for language instructions, including theories of constructivism, whole language, multiple intelligences, reading-writing connection and process-oriented writing approach. Aligned with these learning theories, which emphasize learner active involvements in language learning and assessment processes as well as meaningful and authentic assessments, portfolios have been applied in different levels of language learning. Portfolios have been suggested beneficial for enhancing literacy development and culture learning, and for nurturing positive language learning attitudes. Hence, they should be promoted and applied in EFL language classes. |
