中文摘要 | 在發展多媒體展示時,人們的工作可藉由不同公司所發展之多媒體工具的幫助, 達到事半功倍之效果。由於大量的工具被使用,工具間的資料傳遞益形複雜,因此,如何有 效地整合這些多媒體工具於一個工作環境是非常重要。目前已有許多整合環境的產品發表及 標準的制定;然而,很少有整合環境考慮到已整合的工具間之功能互補的限制;這些限制於 工具被執行時,會造成相互依賴的關係。所以在本研究中,提出一種公具整合之增強架構稱 為工具整合平臺,此工具整合平臺除了提供原來外觀、控制、資料整合功能外,並加入知識 粹取法則及驅動機制來增強處理整合,將多媒體工具於整合時,粹取其整合知識來建立工具 間之相互依賴的關係。為驗證此工具整合平臺之可行性,此平臺已實作於微軟公司之視窗軟 體中,並將多媒體工具,整合於此平臺上當作例子來說明整個整合知識粹取的情形。為突顯 此平臺增強的部分,本論文並將此工具整合平臺與現有整合環境的產品及標準作比較,以彰 顯知識粹取的重要性。此外,本論文也提出一個工具之整合衡量法則,對所整合之多媒體工 具作一量化之分析,以說明那些多媒體工具整合在一起,所發揮的效果最好。 |
英文摘要 | The demonstration of multimedia presentation can be promoted by using multi-vendor's tools. The more tools are used, the more complicated the communication needed among these tools. Thus, how to effectively integrate these tools becomes critical in a multimedia environment. This paper describes an architecture named Tool Integration Platform (TIP) �� to integrate tools in a knowledge abstraction way. TIP is composed of a CID (Control Integration Daemon), a CII(Control Integration Interface) and some Integration Inference Rules (IIR) that are applied by the Integration Inference Engine (IIE). The IIR are stored in a Repository and used to deduce tool knowledge dynamically. In this way, the tool knowledge can be used as the control function constrains to identify the relation of tools. Therefore, TIP can be a cooperative multimedia presentation developing environment. To verify this architecture, MS/ Windows is selected as a test suite, thus proving that TIP is portable to another environment. For the explanation of tool integration, tools such as a Resource Editor, a Resource Browser, and a Presentation Designer are integrated as the example into TIP. Finally, a number of compared items are proposed to assess TIP with other environments and standards. An evaluated method is also proposed to be the metrics to discuss the tool integration status. |
