中文摘要 | 本篇論文主要是研究Kretschmann結構下表面電漿子的共振,藉由Fresnel公式和奇點展開推導出透射率、阻尼率、共振角最佳金屬厚度,以及共振半寬度等一系列的公式。藉由理論模擬得到在使用銀金屬膜有最佳的共振效果,並且使用介電值較大的稜鏡其共振半寬度較小,對於設計光調制器,建議使用銀金屬膜和介電係數較大的稜鏡,如此將可得到靈敏度高的光調制器。 |
英文摘要 | In this paper, theoretical calculation of surface plasmons resonance in a Kretschmann structure have been proposed. An approximation of the transmittance formula have been derived from the Fresnel formulas and pole expansion. Furthermore, we have obtained a series of approximate expressions for the damping rate of SP, the resonant angle, the optimum metallic thickness, and the halfwidth of resonance. As a result of our calculations, we found that the halfwidth of resonance is small in the case of a prism with a large dielectric constant. As far as a high-precision SP light modulator is concerned, a system using a prism with a small dielectric constant and a silver film is suggested to satisfy the requirement of the modulator. |
