中文摘要 | 飼料用玉米粉被用來研究單軸擠壓機之加工變數對擠壓產品膨發特性之影響。本研究之加工變數為模具溫度(120℃, 140℃及160℃)及螺軸轉速(74, 87, 100及112 rpm),實驗為3×4複因子設計。實驗目的有二:其一為利用影像處理技術量測擠壓產品之直徑,並與傳統游標尺量測之結果比較,以探討此種技術之可行性。其二為探討加工變數對產品膨發特性之影響。 實驗結果顯示: 1.利用影像處理技術量測擠壓產品之直徑,與傳統利用游標尺量測之結果並無顯著差異。證明影像處理技術亦可應用於擠壓產品尺寸之量測,可更快速及便捷。 2.擠壓產品之直徑及膨發率隨模具之溫度上升而下降。本實驗之模具溫度為120℃,可得最大之直徑(7.89 mm)及膨發率(2.32)。 3.擠壓產品之直徑及膨發率隨螺軸轉速提高而降低。本實驗之螺軸轉速為87 rpm時,可得最大之直徑(7.55 mm)及膨發率(2.22)。 |
英文摘要 | Feed corn flour was used to study the effects of process variables on extrudate's expansion properties in a single-screw extruder. The process variables were die temperature (120℃, 140℃ and 160℃) and screw speed (74, 87, 100 and 112 rpm). The experiment was a 3×4 factorial design. The objectives of this study were to compare the extrudates diameters between the methods of using image processing technology and using caliper, and to investigate the effects of process variables on the expansion properties. Experimental results showed that: 1. The extrudates diameters measuring by caliper were not significantly different compared to the diameters measuring by image processing technology (machine vision technology). It was proven that ate image processing technology can be applied to the measurement of extrudate's dimensions. 2. Increasing die temperature resulted in a decrease in both extrudates diameter and expansion ratio. The maximum diameter (7.89mm) and expansion ratio (2.32) were occurred at 120℃ die temperature. 3. Increasing screw speed would decrease extrudates diameter and expansion ratio. At 87rpm screw speed resulted in the maximum extrudates diameter (7.55mm) and expansion ratio (2.22). |
