英文摘要 | Rice flour was used to study the effects of process variables on extrudate's expansionproperties in an APV Baker MPF50/25 twin-screw extruder. The process variables werescrew profile, feed rate, and screw speed. The extrudate's expansion properties measured inthis study were dimensions, expansion ratio, sectional expansion index, and longitudinal expansion. The effects of the process variables on the expansion properties were investigated. The feed rate was the most important variable affecting the extrudate's expansionproperties. Screw speed was the second important factor affecting the expansion propertiesof the extrudate. The screw profile affected the extrudate's expansion properties least. |
