中文摘要 | 本研究旨在探討學生對Moodle應用於語言課程的觀點。Moodle為免費開放之課程管理系統,適合作為網路學習工具。研究對象為236位大一學生。參與者利用Likert五分制問卷表達對Moodle以及電腦媒介溝通活動的看法。結果顯示學生普遍認為網路系統、硬體設備、本身的電腦使用能力均足以支持他們善用該工具。其次,在英文課程中,學生認為電腦媒介溝通活動提升他們的文化認知,尤其是批判思考能力的培養以及對不同意見的尊重。然而,本研究未獲得明確證據支持學生在語言知識與使用方面的成長。 |
英文摘要 | The first aim of this paper is to introduce the use of Moodle, a free and open source course management system for online learning. In addition, it is intended to explore students’ perceptions of the courseware and CMC activity assisted by Moodle. The case reported is a freshmen English course provided in a suburban university campus. For the first place, the Likert scale of a questionnaire in 236 1st year para-medical freshmen shows that the students were at the fortunate side of the digital divide and therefore had no difficulty accessing to Moodle. Secondly, they increased their cultural literacy such as tolerance of different voices and development of critical thinking ability. The participants, however, did not show linguistic gains from the CMC activity. |
