英文摘要 | Starting form the 1990s, online games have become the fastest growing segment of the digital entertainment industry. As one of the most successful applications in the history of interactive systems, online games have opened up possibilities for critical thinking and active learning. It provides a safe experiential environment which enables learners to rapidly explore skills, concepts, and strategies. The concept of Serious Game has been proposed to couple the ever increasing interest of using such types of interactive technology in education and training. Yet, pleasure and enjoyment as qualities are rarely discussed or measured in the context of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). The traditional usability focus on functionality aspects has limited the further development of this field. An evolving concept, playability, is emerging as the possible study framework for future HCI. |
