中文摘要 | 由於外籍配偶本身處於教育文化的弱勢,所以他們參與識字班或補習教育者有限,對於擔負妔童教養工作有相當大的限制。英國實施「安穩起步」計畫,在學前階段提供早期的語言介入,結果證實不利地區兒的語言能力獲得改善,以計畫的兒童進入國小之後,在學習上可以順利銜接,且與一般兒童一樣具有學習能力。政府提供類似英國「安穩起步計畫」的教育服務時,將可提升外籍配偶子女的基礎語言能力,期能在語言發展的黃金階段,使得外籍配偶子女不致因為家庭功能與社會環境的不足,落入教育弱勢的惡性循環之中。 |
英文摘要 | The foreign spouses were in cultural and educational disadvantages. The numbers of the foreign couples who take the adult education or language courses were limited. Within such circumstance, their children could get inadequate support from their families, particularly their mothers. The Sure start in the UK was proved to be a successful plan to improve the children’s language abilities at cultural deprived area. The experiences in the UK can be applied to the children of the foreign couples in Taiwan. The government can provide educational intervention at the early stage in order to promote the children’s language abilities who are form the international marriage families. We expect the effort in assisting their language development would avoid them form the defection of their families and social environment. |
