中文摘要 | 目的:本研究探測瞳孔效應對光學同軸眼底斷層掃描儀,測量視神經乳頭周圍視網膜神經纖維層及黃斑部視網膜厚度測量值的影響。材料與方法:每位正常者任選一眼,由具經驗之操作者用光學同軸眼底斷層掃描儀,測量視神經乳頭周圍視網膜神經纖維層及黃斑部視網膜厚度,並比較瞳孔散大前後的平均厚度測量值。結果:受檢樣本為43位正常受檢者共計43眼,受檢者26位為女性,17位為男性。瞳孔散大前後的瞳孔直徑分別為4.6 ± 0.4及4.3 ± 0.5公厘。比較瞳孔散大前後視紳經乳頭周圍視網膜神經纖維層及黃斑部視網膜厚度測量,無論在視神經乳頭上、下、顳、鼻側等四區,6公厘總黃斑部體績及中心凹厚度,以及1公厘、3公厘、6公厘中心凹周圍,其測量值在瞳孔散大前後並無顯著差異。結論:在本研究中,瞳孔散大與否,並不會影響光學同軸眼底斷層掃描儀測量正常眼視神經乳頭周圍視網膜神經維層及黃斑部視網膜厚度之測量值。 |
英文摘要 | Objective: To investigate the effect of pupillary dilation on peripapillary retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) and macular retinal thickness measurements when using optical coherence tomography (OCT-3). Materials and Methods: A randomly chosen single eye from each normal subject received peripapillary RNFL and macular retinal thickness measurements using OCT-3, by an experienced operator. Average thickness measurements before and after pupillary dilation were compared. Results: Forty-three eyes of 43 subjects (26 females and 17 males) were enrolled. The mean age of the subjects was 31.4 ± 16.3 years (range, nine to 55 years). The mean pupil diameters before and after pupillary dilation were 4.6 ± 0.4 (range, 3 to 6 mm) and 7.3 ± 0.5 (range, 6 to 9 mm), respectively. Comparing the peripapillary RNFL and macular retinal thickness measurements from before and after pupillary dilation, there were no significant differences in superior, inferior, temporal or nasal peripapillary areas; in 6 mm total macular volume and foveal thickness; and in 1 mm, 3 mm and 6 mm perifoveal areas. Conclusion: The peripapillary RNFL and macular retinal thickness measurements showed no significant differences before and after pupillary dilation when using OCT-3, in normal eyes. |
